Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is an Afghani lady born to a Russian father and mother who is a Hindu Indian mother. Mahendru is fluent in German Russian English, French Persian as well as Hindi. Her parents are Russian and Indian. A choreographed performance at age 11 that aired on German TV, changed her into an Russian dancer who was a snow maiden. When she graduated at New York's high school, she earned her bachelor's in English degree from St. John's University. In New York, she studied acting in the HB studio. In the following years she enrolled at the Groundlings School and took up various tasks. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru and the Russian mother Olga. The family moved together with their father to New York's East Meadow York, when she was 13 year old. She appears on FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. Television actress best known for her character as the an ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans. The actress has a regular part in The Following on Fox, The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
